Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Alpenhaus Gasteinertal lies approx. 50 m away from the centre of Bad Hofgastein. The ski bus stops about 50 m away and takes guests to the Gastein ski area (approx. 500 m). Both a cross-country trail as well as a public pool are located about 300 m away.The spa hotel is furnished with a reception with welcome area, lift, Wi-Fi, Internet corner, children's playroom, reading room, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and a ski & boot room. Parking spaces, an underground parking garage (for a fee) and one electric vehicle charging station (for a fee) are also available to use.
The approx. 2,000 m² "Alpen.Veda.Spa" with panoramic indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna area with eight saunas and ice igloo, steam bath, relaxation room with heated water beds and heated benches, spa showers and Kneipp foot bath as well as a tea bar is available to use for free (opening hours as per info in resort). For a fee, you can also enjoy various treatments in the beauty centre, massages as well as the fitness room with modern cardio equipment.
Per request, you can participate in the "Gesund- & Vitalprogrammen" ("health & vitality programmes") with e.g. yoga, fitness or meditation (sometimes for a fee).
Rooms
The comfortable rooms are comprised of a bath or shower/WC, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, mini bar (for a fee), hair dryer, radio and sometimes a seating area, balcony or terrace.Board
The already included half board consists of a welcome drink, breakfast buffet and 4-course evening meal of your choice with salad bar. This is composed of a gourmet menu with the ability to choose, or a themed buffet from the Alpenhaus kitchen as an alternative. Vegan meals as well as gluten-free and lactose-free cuisine are available on request. On 24/12 a special Christmas dinner is served and on 31/12, a New Year's Eve gala is prepared.Pets

Important notes
- The use of the lifts in Gasteinertal for children up to and incl. 5 years is free of charge. Should your child use the lifts independently in other Ski amadé areas, a mini card (lift pass) will have to be purchased locally.
- In case you have booked equipment hire through us, the hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 8 km).
- When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
