The Salzburger Sports World is an ideal destination for cross-country skiers. 260 km of mainly challenging trails are available, of which 48 km are near Filzmoos, 26 km near Altenmarkt, 26 km near Flachau and another 26 km around Wagrain. The majority of the trails are linked to each other, which ensures comfortable access.
A hot tip is the trail at Rossbrand which is directly next to Filzmoos: a comfortable ascent up to 1,600 m with the Papageno gondola, and from there you have access to the almost 12 km long trail enjoying a magnificent view with perfect snow conditions! On the flood-lit trails at Filzmoos you can see the surroundings in a different light - a highlight for all cross-country fans!
The most beautiful trails in Altenmarkt are the "Thermen" -trail (approx. 1.6 km) and the challenging "Hochbifang" trail (approx. 4.9 km). The "Waldhöhen" trail in Zauchensee offers unforgettable impressions.
