Location and facilities
The comfortable Resort Achensee (formally Cordial Family & Vital Hoteldorf) is located approx. 1.5 km from the centre of Achekirchs and approx. 1 km from the ski area "Christum". Lake Achen is only approx. 800 m away, and cafes and restaurants can be found directly at the accommodation. A ski bus (with the AchenseeCard, incl., ski bus stop approx. 700 away) brings you comfortably to the ski areas of Maurach and Pertisau. Access to the nearest cross-country trail can be found about 500 m away.The hotel is composed of a main building and side building. The accommodation facilities of the main house include a reception with lobby, relaxation room, Internet corner, Wi-Fi and Safe, a restaurant, two parlours, a children's playroom, conservatory and a ski room with ski boot dryers. Parking spaces may be used for free (upon availability).
The spa area with indoor pool, jacuzzi, infrared cabin and a small fitness room (daily between 09:00 and 21:00) as well as the Finnish sauna (from 14:30) are free to use. For a small deposit, you can rent a bathrobe at the reception. Massages and beauty treatments can be enjoyed for a fee.
You will receive an "AchenseeCard" in resort when paying the tourism tax, which you can use for various activities and amenities, such as free use of the regional Lake Achen bus (to Eben) or free cross-country skiing in Pertisau, etc. Moreover, you will receive reductions on things such as entrance to the WAVE swimming pool in Wörgl or to the planetarium in Schwaz, as well as on a round-trip ride on a ship on Lake Achen (services and restrictions of the AchenseeCard and its usage times are subject to change).
Rooms
The friendly furnished rooms offer a bath or shower, some with separate wc, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, sometimes a hair dryer, sometimes a mini bar (payable locally) and sometimes a balcony or terrace. The suites additionally have a living/sleeping area with double sofa bed and kitchenette (stove, hob and cutlery). The already included half-board PLUS comprises a rich breakfast buffet with organic food corner, an afternoon snack (15:00 to 16:00) as well as a 5-course evening meal with choice and salad buffet. Twice per week there is a speciality evening. A children's menu is also available. On Christmas and New Year's Eve special dinners are served.Pets
