Location and facilities
Renovated in 2017, Hotel Der Abtenauer is located in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Abtenau, about 1.5 km from the Karkogel ski area and about 50 m from the ski bus stop. The Dachstein West ski area is about 12 km away, and a cross-country ski trail is about 500 m away.The facilities of this traditional hotel include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, disco and a ski room. Free parking (subject to availability) is 150 m away (access possible up to the hotel for loading and unloading).
The hotel's own wellness area offers you a sauna and a relaxation room for relaxing and peaceful moments. For a fee, you can also use the infrared cabin.
You will also receive the Tennengau Plus Card for numerous reductions and services, with which you can take part in snowshoe hikes, guided tours of the area or cross-country skiing courses free of charge or at a reduced rate (restrictions and changes to services are subject to change, see information on site).
