Location
The comfortable 4-star superior accommodation Active & Wellness Hotel Gutjahr is only about 350 m away from the centre of Abtenau. The "Untere und Obere Sonnleiten" practise piste can be reached after about 500 m and the Abtenauer lifts can be reached after about 1.5 km. Access to the multifaceted Dachstein West ski area is located about 12 km away from the hotel. A ski bus stops right at the accommodation.Facilities
The modern accommodation is furnished with a reception, four lifts, one of which being a panoramic lift, Skylodge, Wi-Fi, lounge, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, wine shop, ski cellar and a charging station for electric vehicles. Free parking spaces can be used upon availability.After an exhausting day on the piste, you can unwind in the approx. 1,000 m² spa and wellness area. Here, you'll find a 70° sauna, panorama sauna, heat cabin, steam bath, infrared cabin and a Kneipp pool. Furthermore, you can also make use of the indoor experience pool with large viewing window towards outside, massage jets and a starry sky, as well as the fitness room in the hotel. Use of the solarium, massages and cosmetic treatments are also available for a fee.
You also have the option to participate in various winter and leisure time activities (as per info in resort). Once in resort, you will also receive the "Tennengau Plus" guest card, which provides you with numerous discounts at various cultural and leisure time facilities, as well as free use of the ski bus (as per info in resort, services subject to change).
Board
As part of the included half board, you will receive a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet with organic corner as well as a 5-course menu (choice of 3 main courses) with salad buffet and cheese and ice cream from the buffet in the evening. For stays of 7 nights, coffee and cake are included in the price once a week. Dietary and vegetarian as well as lactose-free and gluten-free dishes can be requested.
