Sant Julià de Lòria
Sant Julià de Lòria is a small town in the south of Andorra. The municipality of the same name is the southernmost of the principality. It borders on the two Andorran municipalities of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany to the north and on Spain to the south.Sant Julià de Lòria lies at an altitude of 908 m and has around 9,900 inhabitants. Nature lovers can look forward to the breathtaking mountain scenery of Andorra. In the vicinity of Sant Julià de Lòria you can not only go for wonderful walks, but also have brilliant opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. The largest ski area in Europe outside of the Alps is only 30 km away: the gigantic Grandvalira ski area with its 210 km of pistes!
Those interested in culture should also visit the numerous Romanesque monuments, such as the churches of Sant Cerni in Nagol or Sant Miquel in Fontaneda.
Grandvalira
Located directly at the border to France is the Grandvalira region. It stretches over the two Andorran districts Encamp and Canillo, and presents itself as the largest skiing region in the Pyrenees.
