La Massana
The town La Massana is located at an altitude of approx. 1,240 m and is the main town of the eponymous community. The highest peak of Andorra, the Pic de Coma Pedrosa (2,942 m), towers over the small town. Although it is a few kilometres away, it is predominant for the view of the landscape. Tourism is a major factor for the region and therefore hotels and other accommodations characterise the community's appearance. The church of La Massana is worth a visit: originally built in Roman style, it has been subject to change during the years of its existence and now comprises various styles of various eras.Vallnord
The diverse ski resort Vallnord presents the counterbalance to the big mega-station Grandvalira. Two very different resorts await you here, which are connected to each other by cable car. One of these is Pal, which offers a dignified atmosphere and lovely forest runs; the other is Arinsal with lots of easier pistes that are good for beginners. Pal is also known for its attractive mountain eating places, which are often clad in wood or natural stone. A further cable car zips up to Pal from the valley just behind Andorra La Vella.Travel La Massana
