The family-run 3-star Hotel Espel is located approx. 600 m away from the centre of Escaldes. The nearest lift in Encamp that takes you up to the Grandvalira ski area can be reached after 5.5 km.Facilities

Important notes
- For children born in 2014 or younger, no lift pass voucher will be issued. In order to use the lift system, children in this age group require a valid children's lift pass, which can be acquired in resort at the lift office.
- For seniors above the age of 65, no lift pass voucher will be issued. Seniors aged between 65 - 69 can acquire a lift pass at the lift office for €31 per day, and seniors aged 70 and above will receive a free lift pass at the lift office.
- When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
