Ski area Grandvalira
Winter sports fans can use 71 lifts to make their way into the ski area and can be found not just in Canillo, but also in El Tarter, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa. The Grandvalira ski area is quite diverse - here, beginners and experts alike will certainly get their money's worth due to an extremely wide selection of pistes. This way, you don't have to ski the same piste twice in one day (unless you want to you!).
Especially ambitious winter sports fans can anticipate numerous off-piste opportunities, a mogul piste obstacle course, several funparks, boardercross runs, and FIS race tracks.
Wi-Fi hotspots can be found throughout the entire ski area, providing winter sports fans with internet access. Since February 2019, you can also use your Grandvalira lift pass in the Ordino Acalís ski area, with 30 further kilometres of piste and 15 lifts.
Night skiing Canillo
Winter sports fans who have not had enough of skiing or snowboarding during the day will also find night ski pistes in the diverse Granvalira ski area. Approx. 10 minutes by car from Canillo, you can find the night ski piste at Le Peretol on an altitude of 1,960 m. The piste is approx. 500 m long and is located directly at Peretol tow lift and "Sunset Park Peretol" snowpark. The flood light illuminates the pistes every Tuesday to Sunday evening from 17:00 - 22:00.In Pas de La Casa you can also find a night ski piste that can be reached by car from Canillo within approx. 20 minutes. The piste "Tubs" at the 4-person-chair lift "La Solana" invites night skiing enthusiasts to enjoy night-time skiing fun on a length of approx. 1.5 km.
Après ski Canillo
Those who prefer to take in cultural highlights will find a few medieval sights in Canillo, like its church or the old mill.
Spending a winter holiday in Andorra also means enjoying unique winter wonderlands outside of the Alps. Therefore, be sure to take a walk through the wintry landscape or visit the surrounding cities like Soldeu or El Tarter.
Snowpark: Snowpark El Tarter / Sunrise Park Xavi / Sunset Park Henrik Harlaut Canillo
Freestylers will find paradise in the Grandvalira ski area. Three snow parks including a night park can be found in Andorra. In the El Tarter snow park, divers obstacles and a kicker line await freestylers. Furthermore, the "Park Crew" from Coliflor Freestyle offer a "Freestyle Academy", which is open daily. Kickers and jib elements can also be found in the Snowpark Xavi in Grau Roig. In the Sunset Park Henrik Harlaut, with its Bag Jump, the lights stay on - with the help of a floodlight system, of which runs full blast Tuesday nights to Sunday nights. Furthermore, various events and competitions take place regularly, where amateurs and international free-style professionals can prove their skills.
