Ski area Grandvalira

With the "Grandvalira" lift pass, you have access to 71 lifts and a total of 210 km of piste. Due to its connection with the Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig and Soldeu/El Tarter areas, it's part of the largest ski area in Europe outside of the Alps.

When heading out from Encamp, you can reach the Grandvalira ski area with the 6 km long Funitel. Beginners in particular will benefit from the large selection of easy runs, meaning they'll hardly have to ride along the same one twice in one day. Experts also have the chance to enjoy the unique mogul piste obstacle course and the numerous off-piste opportunities, while pros and freestylers test their skills in the fun parks, FIS racing tracks, and boardercross runs.

Internet access in the form of Wi-Fi hotspots can be found in numerous locations throughout the ski area. Since February 2019, you can also use your Grandvalira lift pass in the Ordino Acalís ski area, with 30 further kilometres of piste and 15 lifts.

Night skiing Encamp

Those who have not had enough of skiing after nightfall can let of steam in the illuminated Sunset Park Henri Harlaut slightly away from the main ski area every Tuesday to Sunday from 15:00 - 21:00. The snow park has a large flood light system and is located the Peretol tow lift in El Peretol, however it is not directly connected to the Grandvalira ski area. The freestyle area can be reached easily via the valley street.

Pas de la Casa offers another illuminated slope, namely the approx. 1.5 km piste "Tubs". The blue piste can be found at the 4-person chairlift "La Solana".

Après ski Encamp

Encamp is rather quiet, although guests can always find a sociable spot at one of the many patisseries found there and spoil themselves with a sweet treat. The "Granja Casal Fleca" is especially recommendable, being the oldest patisserie in the resort, as well as the "El Pastis del Valira" which has sweet, Argentinian specialities available to try.

If it's diversity you're looking for, try participating in a guided dog-sled tour or rent out a ski bike. You could even participate in an igloo building course. A particularly breathtaking highlight is the helicopter tours. The longest zip line in the Pyrenees offers a special adrenaline kick: at a height of 40 m and over a length of 550 m, you can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. The Mont Magic Zip Line in Canillo is definitely worth a visit.

Should you find that you still need more après ski, numerous bars with good music and a cold beverage are available to check out. However, the wildest après ski atmosphere in the region can be found in the approx. 26 km distant Pas de la Casa.

Snowpark: El Tarter Snowpark Encamp
